Leadership Wilson actively solicits participants from all areas of Wilson County. A committee chosen from the Board of Directors reviews applications and selects participants. The application deadline is April 1.
There is a substantial personal commitment of time and energy required from each participant. Leadership Wilson class members are expected to attend all sessions, beginning with a retreat held in September. Class sessions are all day the first Wednesday of the month, October through May. Participation in each class is required of all participants. Participants are also expected to actively engage in a small group project that will be presented to the public near the end of the Leadership Wilson year.
Tuition is $800 and covers all fees, meals, and course materials, as well as the opening retreat.
